Every pet parent knows this feeling. You want to travel, but your dog cannot always come with you. So, you make a plan. You leave them at a boarding centre. You ask a friend or neighbour for help. It works, but something still feels missing.
During the trip, you may think about them. Are they eating well? Are they sleeping well? Do they miss you?
Ridhi and Anurag did not want to feel that way. They were planning a bike trip to Ladakh, one of the most beautiful and challenging rides in India.
Most people preparing for Ladakh think about permits, tyre pressure, warm clothes, and altitude. But Ridhi and Anurag had another concern.
Leaving their dogs, Laddu and Scooby, behind was not an option for them. So, they began thinking of another way.
What Did the Couple Do?
Ridhi and Anurag wanted to take their dogs with them on the bike. But a normal bike was not safe for a long journey with two dogs.
So, they decided to build something of their own.
They designed a special trolley for Laddu and Scooby. The trolley connects to the back of their motorcycle. It gives the dogs their own space to sit during the ride.
The trolley has walls to keep them safe. It also has windows, so they can look outside and enjoy the journey.
The couple built it especially for their dogs and their long road trips. They call it India's first dog bike trolley.
