We recommend using our dematting tool prior to bathing or brushing your pet., Hold the matted hair section at the roots where the hair meets the skin and gently comb the mats. Do not use excessive force or you may break the hair off., Remove Knots and tangles from your pet's coat as soon as possible to aid in their removal otherwise, the knotted hair will become stiff and need to be cut short., After removing knot and tangles, wash your pet's coat with shampoo. Once the coat is completely dry we recommend that you use our Hank Deshedding tool to complete the grooming process for your pet.
