Every pet owner believes a simple morning walk will end the same way it always does, with their dog safely back home. But sometimes, one unexpected moment can change everything.
One dog owner from Wolfe County, Kentucky found out. He was walking Buddy, his dog, near Miller Ridge, close to the Red River Gorge. This trail is famous for its sharp, rough sides. While walking through the trail, Buddy went missing.

It was slow, deliberate work. One wrong move on that rope, on that ledge, could have ended differently. But the team secured Buddy safely and began the careful climb back up.
When Buddy reached the top of the cliff, he was back in his owner's arms. Four days of silence came to an end when the bark was heard just in time and the rescue brought one family and their dog back.
